Meet Gubbins!

For a while I’d been looking around for a project that was a little more lighthearted.

Inspired by projects like Amber Richard’s Mini Clone Adventures and Chris Boffoli’s Disparity, I wanted to branch out a little more creatively and have some fun with my camera.

But I wasn’t sure how. Then I met Gubbins.

Gubbins turned up about 3 months ago and I knew instantly that he’d be a blast to photograph. He thought it would be fun too, and in the last few weeks I’ve finally had a chance to catch him in action.

Gubbins tags along with me almost everywhere these days, and he isn’t afraid to give me a hand with all the work I need to get done.

Or even hauling the canoe out of the water at the cottage (which took him a while)

But at the end of the day, he’s a little man who knows how to relax. Whether by the pool

Or just relaxing with a cold one

We’ll be back!

  1. Hooray for Gubbins!! He’s so cute 🙂 I love this series and I’m thrilled that you have been inspired by the mini clones too 🙂 Can’t wait to see more Gubbins. I adore the shot of him jumping into the pool, and relaxing with a cold one. So cute!

    • Thanks Amber! I was definitely inspired by your work when I started this project. I think sometimes it can be too easy take oneself seriously and forget to have some creative fun with the camera. Your work always reminds me to be keep being creative and having some fun 🙂
