The massive snow piles have been slowly melting away as the weather begins to warm up a bit finally (still below zero most days, but not 20 below anymore :)). It’s making me anxious for Spring to get here!
Kim and I have been super busy lately, so I haven’t had any time to head out shooting. Unfortunate, but some days you just need to know where your priorities are. Anyways, in lieu of something new, I present something from last spring.
On the Victoria day long weekend last May, we made a trip up to our friends’ house in Buckhorn. They have a beautiful lakefront property on Lower Buckhorn Lake, and it was a great weekend with lots of friends, food and drink.
One afternoon my friend Kevin and I went out in the canoe so he could show me some rapids not far from the house that he thought I might like to shoot. I stowed my camera in a waterproof bag and we hit the water.
Originally, I wasn’t happy with this shot, but after cropping out a bridge at the top of the frame and converting to B+W, I was quite happy with the results.
