Hidden Gems

I was processing and re-processing a bunch of old files when I came across these that I took on my walk home from work one day.

These were taken at the Northern side of the Perimeter Institue for Theoretical Physics here in Waterloo. PI, as it is known, is a research facility that specializes in quantum physics research and boasts, among others, Stephen Hawking as one of it’s distinguished research chairs.

The building that houses PI was designed by Saucier + Perrotte and is definitely something different. I have been meaning to post more photos of the facility, but for now enjoy these.
