Quebec City, part I: Daylight highlights

So, I turned around the other day and realized that almost a month has gone by since Kim and I returned from Quebec City and I still haven’t posted a single photo from our trip! What have I been doing you ask!

Well, as it turns out I have been busy shooting for a change. It has been awesome to just get out there with a camera in hand and shoot for hours. I spent some time shooting at my in-laws farm, and I just got back from a trip to Killarney Provincial Park with my friend Wayne Simpson (photos to come very soon!). Of course, that has left me little time for processing. But I have finally waded into the fray and completed posting of my digital shots from Quebec City (I also shoot film, but I haven’t scanned any of those to post here).

This is the first of 3 posts about our trip. These shots were taken in and around the old city where Kim and I whiled away many an hour just walking and talking. It is a staggeringly beautiful city and I highly recommend it to anyone.

So here it is, Quebec City, part I: Daylight Highlights:

  1. What a nice series of shots Mike! I especially love the 3rd shot down of the street. What a great lead in and the bw works perfectly.

    • Thanks Amber! That’s one of my favourites as well. The cold, grey weather of that week really lent itself to the B+W shots. And I was thrilled with the leading lines of the street for sure. Glad you like it too 🙂
