I am beat! Just got back from an amazing long weekend at my good friends’ Kevin and Stephanie’s house north of Peterborough. A great time and I had a chance to do some fun stuff with cameras – will process and post soon. But for now have a look at these I took on the Laurel Trail in Waterloo after work last week. It was a gorgeous day and a beautiful sunset as I waded into the creek and played around in the rushing water. I walk and ride along this trail every day on my way to work, and trust me, I am not complaining. It’s stunning! And it’s right in the middle of town! Enjoy!

  1. Thanks Amber! A little trick I learned at my camera club is that F22 gives you a perfect sun-star (works for street lamps and such too).

    • It’s true! It’s like the tiny aperture squeazes the light through so tightly the rays burst out. That’s how I always imagine it. lol

  2. Wow, it looks so far away. How great that this spot is right in the middle of town AND you go through it daily! That is really nice. Lovely captures too! I especially love the last one of the lone swing. The sun star peaking from behind the tree is perfect 🙂
